SSDI doctor question

Thank you. Is there anyway to find out if this doctor is familiar with

neurological disorders. I don't know of any around here so I couldn't

suggest one to them.

Bobbie,

Possibly. You can try to look up the doctor's name and number in the

phone book and see if he/she has an office listing, then call that

number and ask the receptionist what the doctor's certification is.

Second to that, again, assuming you know the doctor's name, you can try

to find her/him through AMA's Doctor Finder - which has background like

where the doc went to school, did residency, etc.
