Guest guest
I go down the stairs backwards or sideways - mostly backwards, holding on for dear life to the railing with both hands and do one step at a time. Go up the same way. Pull myself up with my arms, one step at a time (both feet on same step then on to the next one). Down escalators I do not do at all. Never could. I cannot step out there and put a foot on a moving stair - I feel like I will fall down the whole thing. Even going up can be a problem - but sometimes out of desperation I try it (with a friend behind me for support). Ahhh, what fun!!! Guest guest
HAHAHA...YOU ARE NOT ALONE MY FRIEND! I too, feel just like you and not only about stairs but also going down hills, I can climb it much easier , but going down...oh boy!!! Not easy for me! I can explain why is that I think... because when we go up we use the upper parts of our legs, the thighs and when we go down hills or stairs we use more our calves, and we all have the weakness in our calves muscles!
