Guest guest
Im back at school today with CB. Fully padded LOL ! Wish me luck, yesterday was a high stim, behavior day. He fell asleep in the car while waiting for Mommy to say bye to Granny LOL. Today my friends you will see why CB is so stubborn...He gets it from the Granny. Im a pit bull on a mission. Guest guest
CB did comply all day...Even though he didnt feel well ( Constipated UNTIL we got home ) He doesnt eat all day. Some of the other kids hit him, he did not fight back, instead he climbs a pole on the playground equip and sits there or climbs into a tube thing and stays there...so much for socialization. He had speech today which he seemed to get excited about. The rest of the day in truth was BORING. The IEP we had at 2 found Granny and CB sitting in the car for 1 1/2 hours, Luckily I brought an educational age appropriate toy to replace the game that had breaking glass noises (CB's WORST TRIGGER ) Mommy went in with my notes from Friday was was promptly dismissed. The Neurologist prescibed Tenex once a day with a sophisticated behavioral plan. They asked what was plan B, well since there has been no Functional behavior analysis and The Doctor prescibed from her vacation in the crisis...we had no plan B. CB's real appointment is in Dec. Now they want to hire a behavior therapist...which will take 30 days.( funny I thought we asked for one ?) Also the staff and children are frightened of CB...so please answer me why you would allow this kid on the playground, or in this school at all ? Compassion ? trust me there is none here. The other kids both on the playground and the classroom came over to me put their heads on me, while I rubbed their backs. One kid asked if I would be his grandma too LOL ! I have decided that CB will be homeschooled. yes placed on the Tenex, and then reintroduced to school( Local ) on a gradual basis. Didnt ask the parents...I just told them. Then told Mommy to get a job locally, so that her hours are not so extreme,CB's bus rides are less and so that if he needs her she can come without taking an hour to get here. Mommy keeps saying if she could make this much money locally she would, But the hours she looses at work picking up a distraught child and staying home with him, seems to me she's not making that much. There is so much more to this mess, but for now Im off the soapbox. CB's Granny
Guest guest
Way to take control, Granny, but will Mommy do it? I like your plan. Good luck, LOL, Pat K
