Guest guest
you are 100% right. A fulltime aide is a great idea. Just my 2cents worth. Barb
Guest guest
, What you describe in Adam is what I had going on from about 6th grade to Jr. High. I am not dyslexic, but I could not write stuff down due to spastic muscles and yes, major frustration. When I got to high school, Dad made me take typing class and got me an electric typewriter - well, voila, because now my mind and my fingers could think fast and work together. I still couldn't do great math (LOL) but my writing and thinking ability just started to soar and my grades improved almost overnight. It was like I was given " wings " ! This was WAY back in the 60's, so I am wondering why Adam has to put stuff down on paper now anyway - would an alternative be a 2005 laptop? ~ Gretchen
