Hey , I know exactly how you are feeling right about now. I live in

Pennsylvania and I got the helios braces 2 years ago from Mitch. I am

predicting you will love them and wonder why you didn't take the plunge

sooner!! If

you want to email me privately I will be glad to answer any questions you

have about the Helios braces. Have a safe trip!!

Hi, I am a member of . I am interesting in having the Helios braces for my

both legs. I am still struggling with my Blue Cross Insurance. My Blue Cross

denied my request for paying fully or partially for the new Helios braces. So

the next action is to have my written letter along with my foot Doctor's written

letter as well to the BCBS to reconsider my request and reasons why.

I wanted these types of braces over other braces such as AFOS( am currently wear

the AFO for my right foot, but not pleased with it ) and my frustration with AFO

and my left foot being deteriorated and in lot pains. And also will explain that

I am taking care of three kids aged from 14 , 8, and 6 that I wouldn't let my

feet to rest in the afternoon when they are home from school.

Most of times, I couldn't take care of them on my own due to the pains I

suffered so much with my left foot. I waited for my insurance to reply back for

a long time and till now, I have to write a letter. What a wasted time waiting

for nothing. But anyway, I would love to view your pictures of your progress

with your new Helios braces if you don't mind.

By the way, my name is Zenaida Astone, a deaf happily married Christian mother

of three hearing boys and lived in Florida for four and half years.

Glad that you loved your new Helios braces. I strongly believed that these

braces for the only ones I really wanted. So I will keep on my faith to have

these one day in the near future. I wish you all the best lucks. Congratulations

once again.

God bless,

Zenaida Astone

Well, I'm off to Vegas to get the Helios in January. I'll be sure to

report back on my experience. So far, talking to Mitch and seeing

his familiarity with CMT needs has made me very hopeful that they'll

help. But I'm still trying not to get my hopes up. I think it's

fitting that they are in Vegas because I feel like it's a bit of a

gamble.

Hi ,

I sent my video in last week, and hoping they will work for me. How long did

it take the company to respond to your video and what is your feet and leg

condition?

Hi Kay,

I got an e-mail saying that they got the video as soon as it

arrived. It took a couple of weeks for Mitch to take a look at it

and contact me.

My feet and legs are in pretty bad shape. I can't climb stairs, walk

more than a few yards, go up the slightest of inclines and I fall

often. Regular AFOs are not helpful to me so I'm really hoping the

Helios will allow me some kind of life.

I'll be sure to report back to the group when I get back.

I have an appointment set for the end of Jan. Will anxiously wait to

hear about your experience with them, . Were you able to get any insurance

coverage for them?

Thanks,

Lee
