Guest guest
Hi , Simplified, a 'chest roentgenogram' is a chest X Ray. Since 'hemi' means 1/2, and since the diaphragm is the thin muscle below the lungs and heart seperating the chest from the abdomen, I am supposing the term 'hemidiaphragm' is referring to half of the diaphragm in some way. Sorry but I'm not up to speed on alot of other human anatomy - lol, but mostly I stick with feet and legs. I hope this helps you somewhat in understanding the abstract. ~ Gretchen
