Dear ers,

Today at the pool, one of the physical therapists talked to me about

NIA and how she wanted to translate some of the movements and

philosophy into her PT work - and would I be interested in helping?! I

(I will be the 'guinea pig' in the pool, first trying the movements

out) I agreed wholeheartedly and we are going to go watch a few

classes either locally or in Los Angeles and see how we can integrate

these NIA movements and philosophy into our aquatics program -

especially for persons with neuromuscular challenges.

I found some info this afternoon http://www.introducing.nia-

nia.com/tour/description.html and http://www.nia-nia.com and would

like to know if anyone out there has heard of this, or is doing this,

or knows of someone who is. Especially anyone in Europe doing this.I am

out of the loop on this NIA since apparently it has been around 20

years and I only just heard of it. There is always something to learn!
