Guest guest
Yes...we are having a fun punishment. Does the regional center help out with the horse therapy for the boys ? I was also reminded of what one of CB's therapists said reguarding any progression will include regression. CB is having another huge language progression. Full sentences painstakingly thought through and spoken. And to tell you the truth with all this Jeckle and Hyde stuff the school has filled my head with, I was in fact concerned about the babies and small children at the petting zoo. My first reaction was to Shadow him, and then I said to myself " wait a minute his isnt going to hurt anyone on purpose " took a breath and stepped back. So my confidence has been undermined as well.We will see what today brings LOL CB's Granny
Guest guest
Every day is a new day with these kids, isn't it? Sometimes it is hard for me to step back, but it so important to allow them as much independence as possible. That is great about CB's language increasing. Keep up the work. Guest guest
No, the Regional Center has no part in the horse therapy. It is simply a woman who raises horses and is also a 4-H leader. It is part of her 4-H group's activities. I remember how that the progression is usually followed by regression and also the opposite. Hmmmm, maybe that means that my little monster, I mean, darling, is due for a spurt of progess? That boy is wearing me out. He lives for taking apart the furniture. Tonight he once again dumped 3 boxes of DVDs on the floor and looked at me, like, 'who me?' when I told him to pick them up. Betty
