Guest guest
Actually glad to hear that DARE was cut. It has never shown any results. In some studies it actually resulted in increased substance abuse. And no, not like Thimerosal is protective against autism BS either. There are actually some very good evidence based substance abuse prevention programs that do show results. I’m working on a local federal grant for that right now. http://modelprograms.samhsa.gov I get your point though. Whatever substance abuse programs are being done in the school is counter to these kids on drugs they shouldn’t be. Becky RE: Re: Does anyone know.... It is interesting that a program like DARE which teaches children about the dangers of drugs, got its funding cut by the federal government. I guess it is because of all the drugs given to children down at the health room at school! These employees of the school board really need to be investigated. They have no conscience! I ran into a teacher at the food store with her 10 month old grand child. I warned her about the vaccines. She said at her school in Balitimore County there is a whole wing for autism now! She said, " Oh they took it out in 1999! " I said, they did not take it out they were asked to start phasing it out. polis peds were still using it mercury containing shots into 2004! I told her that some of the vaccines have mercury and stay away from all flu shots. She said the teachers were told it is out! She was so upset. I gave her lots of web sites! Guest guest
Well, come on ladies - if you know - spill it. People need to know which docs to go to and which to avoid. This is exactly the type of information that needs to be shared within our community. Post it to the list. Every parent needs to know which DAN!'s to be leery of. I'd be mad as a hornet if I thought I was being gouged by my DAN!
Guest guest
I think this is a great idea. It would be even better if you were to send them a letter telling them what you were doing and why. I'm not really sure who manufactures the products I use. It would be great if you could compile a list. I would boycott these products, as well as write letters of my own. Guest guest
Does anyone know how HCTZ would affect an aldosterone and renin value ? Guest guest
HCTZ is a classical stimulus used to increase renin but not well studies for A/R.It also is a great way to bring our hypokalemina in pts with PA. Guest guest
You most likely have PA as renin should have been high on HCTZ 50 a day and I assume it was not, but you did not send normal values for that lab.
