>That Evan is so funny. I can just visualize his trying to use that ball to get over the fence. I still say you should write a book about Evan. Pat K >

If I could find the time, lol. I do not know the how but he apparently got his head stuck somewhere yesterday and scraped his right ear and temple. He was screaming which is not unusual and I noticed both ears a bright red. My first conclusion and actually second was that he had eaten something that was bothering him so I gave him two Benadryl. He calmed down a bit but a while later was fussing again and I noticed one ear was still red but the other was all right so I gave him some more Benadryl. It was then that I noticed a scrap on his right temple but he would not let me near it to check it out. This morning I was able to see that it was his right ear also that was scraped. One would think with all that Benadryl that he would have went to sleep early but not only did he not, but he woke up around 2:30 a.m. I wondered if his ear was bothering him because it is easy to see that it is sore. Bob and I changed places around 5 a.m. and Evan went back to sleep around 6 a.m. but only sleep until 8:30 a.m. He is slightly fading now but I am hoping that he waits until at least 8 p.m. to go to sleep since that means he will be up around 6 a.m.

I have been using those essential oils I was checking into and today I have been spraying Evan's scrapes with some essential lavender oil mixed with water because he will not let me touch it with any ointment. he will let me spray it through because I have been using some of the oils that way on him. I also tried a suggestion that I read from the oil list about keep alert after losing sleep and I managed to get through church without falling asleep, lol. One oil is a company blend but the second was just peppermint on the forehead or third eye. Let me add, if one is using these oils try and remember NOT to rub the eyes. Now that did help to keep me awake, lol.

I wonder what in the world Evan did to hurt his ears; there is no telling. Does Benadryl put Evan to sleep? It makes Karac absolutely wild!!

No, I guess you wouldn't have time to write a book. LOL, Pat K
