Guest guest Posted June 1, 2005 Report Share Posted June 1, 2005 So, my first batch got bottled, put it in the fridge and tasted it a few days later.....like rotten eggs. Really nasty. It went down the drain. 2nd batch has been brewing for about 2 1/2 weeks and it tastes and smells like yeast. Its not vinegary...just yeasty. I don't know whether to bottle it, wait for something else to happen ...... I don't even know if I should be annoyed or encouraged by this. Though I am leaning towards the grumpy end of it.
