Guest guest
How old is your child? Did they offer any other ways to deal with him/her other then meds? I have a 14yr old step-son on adderall xr 25mg fir ADD, and when he first started I think it was 10mg and moved up. I do not know anything about the strattera other than its more for a depression kind of thing. Its a non stimulant. The adderall really helped when he was first placed on it , but now I think its more of a self control , behavioral issue. Anyways good-luck!!! Guest guest
I understand Strattera is helpful with some and 10mg. is a low dosage. Karac was put on 40mg's which caused terrible aggression; which I knew was causing the aggression, but I'm the grandmother; so I was ignored. Instead of taking him off of the Strattera they upped his Geodon which caused him to now have tardive dyskenisia. They have now realized I was right and have taken him off, but it is too late. Tardive dyskenisia is irreversible! Be careful of Meds!! Pat K
