Zocor and High Cholesterol

Does anyone know if taking Zocor for high cholestrol can make your

CMT

worse? I have been taking it for a couple of years and I just found

out that one of the side effects can be muscle weakness and pain. I

have had more weakness and pain but I am not sure if it is the

medicine or just my CMT progressing.
