Alright, i have written many times, but I have some questions. I don't *Think*

I have Cushings. I don't have amoon face, I have minimal weight gain (I

fluctuate from 125 pounds to 141 pounds) I do have acne, no back hump. I have a

history of 2 and a half years of high cortisol. I had an adrenal MRi scan with

NO contrast dye. It came back fine, but I felt they didn't really do a good job.

Maybe that doesn't matter. I had a negative dexamethasone suppresion test.

My symptoms are horrible, and alot of times I feel so sick I feel I might die. I

have never come across anything that looked like it fit symptoms wise, except

for maybe Conn's. I do have questions about it though. I haven't had an

aldosterone test or a renin one. My doctor is sending me for another am cortisol

tomorrow and Pm. ANyways, I asked her to throw in an adosterone test just to

see. My Potassium came back normal this time. One time it was 3.5 and normal is

3.5-5.5. (Im in Canada, the levels might work different here). I was wondering

if Potassiukm can come abck normal if people have hyperaldosteronism. I also

wondered what the relationship with aldosterone and cortisol is? If I had

hyperaldosteronism, could my cortisol also go up? Do any people here with conn's

ever have high cortisol readings? Normal Potassium readings? Or also can

Potassium go up and down throughout the day. For example throughout the hwole

night I am getting tons of palpitations, rapid heart beat, chest pains, could my

potassium be low then and when I get my blood done during the day maybe at that

hour it was fine?

Sometimes it feels like my head and chest are going to burst because the

pressure seems unbearable. I get chest pains and rapid heartbeat during this

time as well. I also (during th eheart symptoms that can last weeks) gte an ahcy

left leg, and my left side of my neck/shoulder hurt and almost feel tighter and

bulge a bit (weird I know). When my heart symptoms aren't there (they somtimes

disspeaer for a few weeks) they get replaced with a horrible malaise, my urine

turns very dark orange I become excessively thirtsy, I am severly constipated, I

am just sick. Oh well. There is more of an explanation in my odler posts. Wanted

the potassium and cortisol questions answered though please :). Thanks so much

:)
