Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Share Posted November 14, 2006 good eveing, tonight i wanted some yoga before bed so i pulled out yoga shakti. i meant to do this one on sunday but just didn't ahve the energy. i went with a premix practice on this(i usually use the matrix and pick my own). i did the lunar flow which clocked at about 1 hour 13 minutes. i uses lunar meditation, prana yoga, lunar salutations, foward bends and twists, inversions(which was hard for me tonight), pranymama, meditation, and finally savasana. i haven't done this long of a practice in quite some time and it was nice to get back to it. even though its was mostly meditations, the asanas were relaxing excpet getting to inversions. theshoulder stand was quite hard for me, i think b/c i am just lacking in my strength again. i came out of the pose several times, sometimes just going back to plow pose and other times just lying all the way down and taking a few breathes resting. the length of time she does shoulderstand on top of the leg movements were a killer, but now i kind of know where i want to work to get stronger, and hopefully use this and bryan's workouts to get there(along with my new rotation). for this 1 hour 13 mins. everything was fine. there was no worry about money, busted cars, whining kids, school, dh, NOTHING. everything was fine and peaceful. kind of still in that feeling, like "its cool, it will be okay, everything zen". what a way to end the day honestly. i think i might be sleeping good tonight after this. for tomorrow i have kathy smith's secrets of a great upper body. i haven't done this one in awhile either and i think i have only done it once or twice. its a good workout to build up on i think. i also want to get a good 20-30 mins. of some type of kickboxing workout so that will either be caribbean workout or tae-bo. something that will work me cardio wise-just good enough. my main focus is getting some strength back,but making sure i keep my cardio in there. have a great night all. kassia Want to start your own business?
