Guest guest
, hi, Glad I could help. When you get your NB shoes, they may be a tad bit stiff, depending on which model you get. I find this happens more with the " cross-trainers " whereas the running or walking shoes aren't so stiff at first (but I wear them out faster) Second tip: the shoes will have an insert in them. Take that out. Find some Spenco cushioning insoles - here they are sold at Long's, Walmart, other sports-shoe stores. And if they are too big, you can easily cut them down to fit. Spencos significantly reduce the shock to your feet when walking and have saved my life in many steps. When you get your AFO, you can still leave them in your shoe, no problem. $9.99 is a great price...go for it. Let me know which NB model you chose. ~ Gretchen
