Mine are for women. This is what it says: " A high mileage trainer for

the runner who requires maximum motion control, stability and

cushioning " . I just looked up what it says about the Men's Model 1122

and it says the same thing!

As for the arch support - well, it does FEEL like there is more there

for me, but that may be from adding my orthotics into this well made

shoe. And let me tell you, I have very high arches.
