Guest guest
, don't you just love walking with ? She can be sort of campy and almost too happy sometimes, but she never fails to make my attitude better than before I did her workout! If you're not feeling sore then by all means, go up in weight and increase the intensity. Walk more briskly and "with a purpose", add some "umph" to it! If you're just mildly sore I think it's safe to repeat the workout, but if you're super sore then I'd do a video that emphasizes something else to give your body a chance to recupe and repair torn muscle tissue.Good job on the workouts!nancydewolf <nancydewolf@...> wrote: Hi Tonya, I'm glad you answered Joanna's question because as soon as I saw it I said, "yeah, what about that" and now I have some new ones... I'm very new to using free weights and am using light ones for now. I don't work out consistently so sometimes I feel soreness from the strength training workouts and sometimes I don't. If I don't feel soreness does that mean it is safe to repeat the workout the next day or should I still wait? (I'm using Sansone's Walk Firm right now and it is a full body toning/strengthening tape.) Also, if I don't feel soreness should I increase the weight? I'm sure I'll have more questions soon too. I always look forward to reading your responses to people, thank you very much for sharing your experience and knowledge!! recent workouts and a question Friday I did the Tae bo as planned (30 mins cardio), saturday I caught myself feeling ratty and snappy so I made the husband face the computer and promise not to look at me and did more tae bo (bootcamp basics) which left me feeling very worked out and improved my mood tenfold. This morning my plan was to do half an hour of plyometrics from p90x and then half an hour of weights but I got into the plyometrics stuff because it reminded me of PE at school so I did the full workout and enjoyed the nostalgia and became very exhausted (in a good way). Should probably say I found out about a lot of these workouts by reading this list, workout videos commonly available here tend to involve b list celebrities or reality tv contestants trying to prolong their 'fame'. The videos Ive found more recently, both that I have and that I drool over online look are a lot more serious, I like to feel like its about the workout and not geri halliwell et al making some money, you US people are lucky! Oooh and I went and looked at the video fitness site and forums, which i probably wouldn't have found if it wasn't for here and now my wish list has grown even more The question I have is this: What counts as the kind of muscle working that you need to take a day off after eg the tae bo bootcamp videos have resistance band work, should I not do any weights the next day or is it gentle enough that it doesn't really count as the kind of thing you need to 'recover' from. Hope that makes sense. Finally thankyou for all the hallos Joanna
