Guest guest
Recently, a fellow CMT patient told me that he and some other CMT patients were having good success in restoring feeling in their feet by the use of an Anodyne machine. This machine, which is made by a Tampa, FL firm, fits on the calf and foot and uses light emitting diodes to provide infrared energy. The promotional material also claims Anodyne Therapy will reduce pain in most patients. Have any of you used Anodyne Therapy and, if so, what has been your experience? Even though I was diagnosed with CMT in 1997 I have not experience pain from CMT. If I am not experiencing pain, would the Anodyne Therapy be helpful for me? I would appreciate hearing any experiences that any of you may have had, or any research on Anodyne Therapy that you are aware of.
