Guest guest
, I figured it out. Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know I created a photo album. Now you can put a face with his name. I had a few problems with 's system, but there are pictures now. Let me know how different his cast is compared to Shriner's. You'll see I still have not done the fabric with mod podge.............and you can tell. DIRTY! Anyway here is my sweet and there are some pictures of his twin brother. Guest guest
Tasha, They are both adorable. To me the cast didn't look that dirty but then I'm not with him everyday like you are so you would notice it more than me. But just wanted to say they are cute. Guest guest
They are so precious Tasha. Thanks for sharing. Just my two cents- to keep his cast " cleaner " , even though it doesn't look too dirty to me- I always keep a onsie on Evan and a bib. The onsie just keeps the tape and moleskin from peeling off so easily and then spills and other " things " don't get on it as easily.Just wanted to share what worked for us. and Evan Tasha Fontenot <ryanswalk@...> wrote: , I figured it out. Guest guest
Tahsa, Oh, goodness is he ever adorable or what?! Too cute!!! In terms of how it differs from the Shriners casts, Shriners casts are more open in the chest area to prevent chest wall deformities and the stomach area is more open as well. You seem to have a small cut out for the belly and another small one on the left side in the front. Do you know what that smaller one up top is for? Also, I didn't see a pic of the back of the cast, but ours has a cut out on the back of the rib area...basically to push the ribs on one side and let it expand on the the other side in order to get rid of the rib hump. Ian's cast does not go over the shoulders, but Shriners does do some of them over the shoulder depending on where the apex of the curve is. I think SLC always does over the shoulders whereas Erie does it based on the apex...someone correct me if I am wrong. So, those are the basic differences that I see. Ian has a photo album if you want to compare cast pics (although I do need to update his album from our latest trip). > > , I figured it out. > Hi everyone, > Just wanted to let you know I created a photo album. > Now you can put a face with his name.
