I know Dr. Sturm is very interested in learning Dr. Mehta's technique and is in contact with which we are very fortunate about because many orthopedists are not nearly as interested as he. I'm hoping he continues to learn and apply Dr. Mehta's technique for the benefit of Max and many other young children with scoliosis in the midwest. Oddly enough, of the 4 orthopedist we saw in a 5 month time period all said Max's curve was rigid, except Dr. Sturm who felt it was flexible. I will ask Dr. Sturm what type of frame he uses when casting. Thank you again and I'm sure you'll be hearing from me with more questions.
