Guest guest
Gretchen, I need some advise. I am a social worker at a nursing home and I am in the processes of helping one of my residents get Social Security. We did a telephone interview, filled out all of the paperwork and sent it in and she was denied. Then we did an appeal and she was just denied again. I am not sure what it is that I am doing wrong. I would tell her to get an attorney, but she is at a nursing home and has no funds for an attorney and I am no expert in Social Security. In fact this is only the third resident that I have helped to do this. The other two where approved with no problems. Can you make any suggestions to me for helping out this person. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks, Mandy
