Guest guest
this is a re-post for michelle i hope that it helps a little bit. i wonder if we can ask collagevideo if they are really going to carry gilad's new workouts, and if they will have clips of them. that might help you to decide if you want to buy or not. :*carolyn. --- gilad chat aug 11th Date: Sun, 13 Aug 2006 18:31:34 -0400 From: Festival City Concrete <pvisser@...> Reply-pvisser@... LOL! first though, i have to say that i was cracking up because he kept calling me 'carolyn 5' instead of 'carolyn v'.... he mistook the initial 'V' of my last name to be a roman numeral 5, i guess... LOLOL! i didnt have the heart to correct him. so, there are going to be 3 new workouts. all are around 60 mins long and each focuses on different principles. - power & grace - plyometrics and isometrics will keep heart rate above 75%. so this is, in a sense, a cardio workout to strengthen the heart and lungs, but is not traditional aerobics. rated upper-intermediate and advanced due to high intensity. - core & more - cuts & curves - uses light weights and a resistance band. he says that these 2 workouts are for all fitness levels, as you decide on weights used and number of reps done. (most instructors say this type of thing, but we know that workouts are often limited in the weight that you can use due to the speed of movements, and the exercises that are done, etc .... so i expect that these will really be intermediate level workouts). there is another workout as well which gilad just finished filming on an aircraft carrier that is docked in the harbour in hawaii. he says that it is mostly low impact, mostly cardio (bootcamp style stuff plus some kickboxing, which is typical of gilad's style). i asked if these workouts could be purchased on his website, at collagevideo and at retail, and he replied that all of those places will be involved. he says that they are going to put a pre-sale announcement up on his website this week (www.gilad.tv) :*carolyn.
