Gretchen-The trouble I'm having with the files is after it's downloaded. An

error message comes up and says this file doesn't have a program associated

with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder

options control panel. I don't know what to do. Anyone else have this problem?

You must think I'm an idiot!

I'm laughing.........

Hi Barb,

Great to hear about Ry, the move, le and all. I am so happy the

move worked out for YOU!

OK, now, to get to our FILES.

1. Go to our main page, http://hope.info

2. Make sure you are 'signed in' with your ID and password.

3. Look on the leftside of the computer screen for 'FILES'.

4. Click on that to view all FILE Folders.

5. Go to whichever Folder you want, click (might need to click

twice) to OPEN the Folder.

6. Some Folders have more than one document in them (like NT-3, or

Vitamin C) but you will see all the documents in a Folder and then

you can pick out the one you want to read. Click (once or twice) to

open that particular document.

7. Some of the documents are in straight Word format, and will open

immediately (assuming you have Word).

8. We have other documents that are in pdf format. To open those

requires having Adobe Acrobat Reader - which is easy to download for

free off the I-net. These types of documents are often research

oriented and ones I have begged off the authors, etc.

9. Let me know how this goes...everyone, for that matter, if you

have a problem opening a File, let me know and I'll try to

troubleshoot.

10. I think we have a few photos in our Files (like in the SAFOs

File) These pictures are in jpeg format, so you just need to have

some sort of photo program to view them.

Hope this helps, Barb!

~ Gretchen
