Guest guest
, hi, Whatever " type " you have, that's what your kids have. CMT DS is now thought to be a variant of Type 1, but I thought that you have CMT 1A, which is the most common (somewhere like 75-85% of ALL CMT). There are numerous types of " Type 1 " , here's the list from the geneclinics.org website. Far as I know, and all I know is CMT Type 3 (also known as Dejerne Sottas) has been re-classified as a Type 1 'varient' BUT I am not aware of the 'number' it has been given, IF it actually HAS been given one. I will have to light a fire under these researchers butts - lol.
