Hi Sally,

Sally have you had your sons hips xrayed? I am just wondering because my son,

now age 17 has had two operations on his hips. His first operation he had a

double hip operation at the age of 3 1/2 because he was at risk for dilocating

hips. His second operation was when he was 9 he had his right hip operated. Both

times he was in a full body cast with a bar that went between his feet. Luckily

he was great in the cast both times!! So I would just check out the hip

situation Sally. I don't know if I am an expert on CMT and children. I just do

what every other mother would do for their child who has physical limitations.

I am now just so excited that Seth is going to volunteer at the hospital and

work with the elderly people. He is such an outgoing person and thrives in

atmospheres where there are people. He is a little like his mom. He also is

considering going to college online which will be great. So please just keep

working hard for your children it does pay off in the end.
