CMT 1 and DS (Dejerine Sottas)

I can't remember if I welcomed you to or not, but just let me say

it again, " welcome " !

Now, as for CMT 1 - DS:

DS (Dejerne Sottas) was, for long while " classfied as CMT Type 3 " .

Recently now that classification has proven that DS CMT is a varient of

CMT Type 1.

That is the simple answer. You can look up Dejerne Sottas through the MDA

website http://www.mdausa.org or do some searches on your own using a engine

like dogpile.com There is a DS site too I have come across.

I can try to pull up some molecular biology info/or genetics info/or

some papers if you want. If you'd like to, email me directly (address

think I have.
