Guest guest
Hello, If anyone would like more information on breathing problems...check out... www.doctorbach.com When my sister first started having problems with her breathing, the doctor said there was nothing that could be done (this went on for a year). She ended up in the emergency hospital, and they had to put a Trach in, and she almost died. If the doctor would of checked it out, he would of found out he could of put my sister on an noninvasive ventilator, (Bi-pap) and she would of never gone through all the trauma from the build up of carbon dioxide and putting in a trach. The doctor also told her she would never talk, or be off the ventilator, and she could choose to be taken off, and die. Being the survivor my sister was, she chose to show the doctor he was wrong. Every year, for 9 years, she sent the doctor a card reminding him she was still alive, off the ventilator during the day, and could talk up a storm ;-) I guess my mission is to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else! I miss my sister, and so sorry she has passed away, but I know her courage, and will, has helped me through the cmt. I hope this information touches someone who may need to know this.
