Guest guest
Florence, Yes, there is fatigue with CMT. This is how it was explained to me: Fatigue happens because CMT muscles have to work twice as hard to do half the work of a non-affected person. Pacing, planning, timing and resting are all ways to help manage it. In my teens I took Ritalin to help with fatigue. Now I understand some people with CMT are finding help with Pregablin, I think. I no longer have that incredible fatigue issue. I have long days and get a solid 8 hours sleep at night that sustains me. Plus my aquatics program that is a total energy booster! ~ Gretchen
