Guest guest
Gretchen, Thank you for telling me your experience!! I was sick for a whole month after the surgery & haven't been online to answer the posts about this subject. I had since had my post-op check up & found out why I ended up with severe diahhrea. 1 in 10 people get it because the surgery kills most of the good bacteria your body houses & the bad take over. All you can do is wait for the good to rebuild up. I am now back to normal & am so relieved!! Something good came outta the experience. I now eat a 'lil healthier & drink more water. Guest guest
If you go to the health food store you can get a pill called acidopholis and it will build up the good bacteria you need faster. This works for any time you have taken lot of antibiotics or when a yeast infection occurs. My family doctor told me about this wonder pill and it does not inter fere with any of the other med I take. Cathleen in Arkansas
Guest guest
I am a believer in acidopholis. It cured Adam from chronic tonsillitis. Zinc will also help rebuild your immune system with an added benefit of reducing any swelling. Just make sure you take zinc with food. Guest guest
Acidopholis is a good choice, did you know yogurt can accomplish the same. Everytime I need to take antibiotics I go to the grocery store and stock up on yogurt. I've known drs to order yogurt in the hospital for patients who have diarrhea, especially from antibiotics.
