Guest guest
Hi , First and foremost, your health needs to come first. Having said that, some alternatives to officially filing for disability might be discussing flextime/days and/or part-time employment with your current employer first. Then see how that goes. Since you mentioned finding a new job, perhaps this might be something to look into now. If then you are no longer able to work, file for SSDI. There is nothing to fear - just alot of paperwork, but I know you can handle that. If, you are found disabled by SSDI, and then if you start receiving benefits, and then if you find another job you can do, you would simply go off SSDI - and you have a 9 month trial work period to see if that new job would work out. Take care of yourself and your CMT needs. ~ Gretchen
