I kept my son home all year. The program is called 'home teaching'. The

teacher comes to our house twice a week. He is doing fantastic with this

program.

He was one of the top 10 students in the 10 th grade last year. I have just

signed him up for the rest of this year. It's a nice recovery period for him.

His first surgery went really well. I just didn't want to put him in school if I

didn't have to. I wanted him to be able to elevate his foot when he needed to.

Our schools are very big and crowded so that was also a concern of mine.
