Bobbie, hi,

Yes, since your neurologist specifically stated that you are no longer

able to work, get this in writing, in the form of a letter, referring

to your CMT. As a rule SSDI would not ask for this, but it shows WHY

you are applying for benefits and will explain your CMT in a nutshell.

I don't know what kind of work you did, but it should refer to that

as " no longer able to do it " because of CMT progression shown in your

test results, strength, etc.
