Guest guest Posted September 2, 2005 Report Share Posted September 2, 2005 Hi Bobbie, No, no, do not worry. The AFO issue here is not a big deal. Some of the examiners are just total stooges. Here's a suggestion - get a copy of the prescription from your doctor for the AFO, then send it to the examiner. Really, this is the examiner's job, but like I said, stooges exist, which really slows things and backs stuff up. Everyone you talk to, and everything you send in, make copies for yourself. Write down the dates and who you speak to when you call into SSA. I know this is alot of work, but it is essential for YOU to stay on top of things. Please do not worry.
