Guest guest
Hi Tess, Glad to see you are improving. After my first surgery I ran a low grade fever for about ten days. They just told me it happens. Lynn tess_northwest@... wrote: > Hi...well, it's been a week since the surgery. Time takes on such a > surreal feel after surgeries. Guest guest
Tess, Let us know how the checkup goes. I see the surgeon this afternoon about my incisions. by all means do NOT, repeat NOT go on HRT!! I am just beginning to realize my mistake by taking it for 18 months, and wish I'd just put up with the hot flashes which, by the way, have nearly disappeared. Of course, you can never have one when you really need one, right? Hugs, Judi
Guest guest
I'm so happy to hear that your pain isn't to bad and you are progressing so well. The fatigue is normal after surgery. It's a big shock to your system. I hope your checkup goes well tomorrow and you enjoy your outing with Mom and Em. a > Hi...well, it's been a week since the surgery. Guest guest
Hi ----congratulations on your one week without a drink. We just live life one day at a time. Just don't drink today and the days soon add up. There is such a beautiful life ahead of you without booze. I am so happy for you that you have taken the first step. There are all kinds of people to help you stay off the booze. I'd like to share a couple of tid-bits from someone who has gone almost 20 years without a drink. I stay sober ONE DAY AT A TIME. Remember there is nothing so bad that a drink won't make it worse. And as my sponsor told me many years ago, and I find it helps me on an ongoing basis.... If you want to stay sober --- Don't Drink, Go to Meetings and Change Your Life. Changing your life is one to the biggest challenge you will face in this world, but it is also the most rewarding. I pray that you are able and willing to get the help you need to improve your life physically, mentally and spiritually. Remember, anyone can stop drinking for just one day, today. That's all it takes...just for one day. You already have SEVEN DAYS! Kindest regards from a friend of Bill W.
Guest guest
I had to reply to this email! Its has been 5 weeks tomorrow (saturday) since I had a drink and I always avoided taking anti-depressants for my severe depression. I spoke to my CMT specialist who is absolutely wonderful and he recommended I saw a specialist re my depression - since then I have never looked back, I am so much more positive and feel as if I can cope better, not just with the CMT but life in general. There is help out there but I know at times when you think there is lis light at the end of the tunnel it turns out to be a train, one day it will be what you need - real light. Love to all. Guest guest
I'm sorry...I should have been more specific. I don't have CMT...my wife does. With all the stress we have in life, her disease and my depression problems and alcohol just don't mix. I am learning that the drinking triggers all the bad things when depression or bipolar disorder are also a factor. I just pray we can survive this. Thank you all for for support and prayers. There is power in numbers, whether it be in prayer or joining together to find ways to ease the pain of a disease. God bless you all...and thank you, once again. Guest guest
Hi Becky, My son has been in his band since last Friday, so we are at exactly one week. He has severe Brachycephaly with a touch of Plagio. We were told that we would work to correct the assymetry first before correcting the flatness. In the one week he's been banded, my husband and I SWEAR we notice significant rounding and correction of the assymetrical side! We wonder if we are going crazy with all the obsession about his head and imagining it, but it seriously looks different to us. He is almost 5 months old, so I understand that it makes a big difference since he's growing so quickly now...how old is Katelyn? Do you see a difference yet? Best to you, Mother to Wes in Dallas (DOCbanded one week today) > > Just curious ( and I know all cases are different) but I was wondering--has > anyone ever seen any difference (even slight) after wearing the DOC band for a > week? > > Becky > Katelyn-DOC band since 3/14 >
