I know what you mean....It was cool having good calve muscles, now I know

why...It took my awhile to figure out what champagne legs were. I'm glad I have

other people to talk to.

Hi There,

Where are my calves muscles? I do not have much there..hahaha!!!

Mine is thin and weak..but now are getting a bit better..since I

started to do my exercices...Thank God!

I have a kind of flop feeling there...like if something is dead...is

where the atrophy is...also my hands got weaker...some fingers more

than other!

Take Care

I have always had defined calve muscles. Matter of fact friends have

often remarked what great legs I have. Now, take into consideration

that since I was diagnosed as a kid, I have either walked in sand,

walked backwards, ridden a bike, ridden horseback, walked for exercise,

done aerobics or yoga, danced and more recently am involved in aquatics

which includes lots of leg work.

What's wierd is that there is still about a 3 inch section on the front

of my legs, where the peroneal muscle should be, but is not, due to

CMT. As long as I can remember, it hasn't been there. It seems other

muscles have taken up that 'slacker', the peroneal muscle! lol
