Guest guest
Hi my name is Kathy and I have just been diagnosed with CMT in March this year. Since I was diagnosed I have been reading up on this disease and learned that I had many symptoms all my life and never knew it. I was one of the lucky people I guess. I was very active in sports since a very early age and this helped prevent early advancement I guess. However, a couple of years ago I had a bad knee injury and can no longer participate in the vigorus sports I used to play and now the CMT is really beginning to progress. I have been trying to find out what type of exercises I can do to help slow down the process. I haven't really had much luck. When I asked my neurologist he replied. " Nothing really when the nerves die there is nothing that can be done. " But that doesn't answer my question. I am here to learn what I can from other people in the same situation as I am in. Bye Kathy
