100% into research. I wouldn't mind getting help from someone with a disability

that understood how I was feeling. Sometimes asking for help is embarrassing.

Wow, that is great! Something I always thought of doing, except more in the

health care arena of helping people get around all of the paperwork and learn

how to advocate for themselves. Good luck and keep us posted on how this is

I'm very happy for you, Gretchen. I had to hire a special attorney

before I could receive my SSI benefits. He himself had a disability

and could relate to my situation. --Joe

At this point in your life this sounds like a " dream job " !! It will widen your

knowledge to other reasons why people need SSDI & SSI, and allow you the

opportunity to help other people.

You have been taught, and learned very well how to help other people with the

assistance of your/our spiritual 12 Step Fellowship. You are a very giving,

caring, loving, compassionate and worthwhile person! I know this without ever

meeting you face-to-face.

All of us at owe you our humble gratitude for all you have done for us as

the Founder/Moderator. I know this will continue.

God does work in mysterious ways and he/she is indeed working in your life.

THAT'S FANTASTIC, Gretchen!!

Keys here...(I haven't been in touch for awhile because I went to my

daughters' graduation in ville and have been trying to finish moving,

it's taking a month to move. My body is in BAD pain and I'm weak lately. More

than normal..enough of me!)

So that's just right up your alley. And who better to do it?!?! What an honor.

I've got goosebumples...that's better than regular goosebumps.

I just wrote a 4 page letter to a lady for my disability because when they did

the phone conversation, she didn't even really ask what I even had and that

pissed me off. So I also included a bunch of your e-mails so she would

understand what I'm going through. Hope it works. I just overnighted it to Key

West last week.

I moved back with Jeff and am very happy now. I finally can sleep at night and

feel more secure. Taking 200 milligrams of Oxycontin and 20 of the Cymbalta

which I just started last month. That kind

of makes me tired. I don't know what to think of it yet. If you need a case to

work on, " Please take me! " ......It's the perfect time since they're going

through the second time of telling me yes or no. They said it would be 120 days

for a decision. Write soon, I've got someone at the door.
