Guest guest
You're training to be a " Government Benefits Professional " and should claim that as your title now. Or be specific and say you're an " SSDI/SSI Benefits Professional. " --------- Rick
Guest guest
Gretchen Like Cindi I thought Advocate (without seeing her post first either!) In Glasgow there are some community groups who have similar in depth training to provide independant advice on benefits, financial and social for the disabled. They don't focus on CMT but on the whole array of illnesses and this is a common title that people seem to understand OK. In the UK getting benefits can be equally difficult if not quite as complicated (unless I'm being naive). Reading some of the problems experienced by some of you guys and the costs - eek! The NHS may have its problems but a lot us of here would be sitting on a few eggs less if it didn't exist. Fiona

Guest guest
Hi Gretchen, I would put your " job title " as " Disability Advocate " rather than anything else because then when you finally get your certification you can keep that title as well as adding the word associate or partner to your business card. ita
