Guest guest
No, I do not know her at all...it doesn't ring a bell. I hadn't heard of anyone on this board resolving on their own. I don't think I joined this board until right around the time you mentioned her last posting, so she probably posted before I was very active. I thought Ian was resolving for a while there and so I didn't read and post on here all that much during the time frame of April 05 to July 05. Try emailing either or Deshea...they probably remember her and can tell you more. Noelle (12-2-01) Ian (8-15-04) Hayden's Visit at Sacramento Shriners Hi Everyone, Hayden had her lst visit with a specialist yesterday.....Dr. Gupta at Shriners here in Sacramento. She had her second xrays and her Cobb was the same as it was on September 27th at 7 weeks old.....21 degrees and the doctor greeted us with some fantastic news......RVAD of 3!!!! There is no progression thus far and the doctor said he was pretty sure this would resolve itself. So she may be one of the lucky ones. We are thanking the Lord for this wonderful Christmas gift. He wants to see her again in 4 months and of course we will be watching her like hawks. The left side of her back doesn't look as muscular as it did, with the right side looking a little more concave. As she grows stronger and is rolling over and lifting up trying to scoot, etc. I think her muscles are strengthening and holding that spine in place.......my theory anyway. When we asked Dr. Gupta about the spines that do resolve themselves vs. the ones that don't he said " just as we do not know what causes some to progress we also do not know what causes some to resolve " . He had a theory and I wish I had taped our conversation....he said he believes there is something neuro??????? going on that reverses itself. At any rate we know Hayden's not out of the woods yet and will require monitoring for a long time to come. I did speak to Dr. Gupta re: the Min Mehta casting method and AMIL table, etc. He was very familiar with Dr. Mehta but not so familiar with the difference in the method of casting. He gave me his fax # and I am forwarding him information. I will continue to update everyone in the near future and also continue to pray for all of your precious children. Guest guest
I remember her. She is very busy. Her dd was discovered to have scoli too, not self-resolving. She also goes to school and works so just doesn't have time to post any more. Maybe you could e-mail her privately?
