Hi Gretchen,

Thanks for adding your " two cents " . I enjoyed reading it very much, especially

the part about the grocery store. It brings to mind similar expierences.I never

doubt Katelyn regarding her complaints about fatigue. I also know she has

balance problems and I am always there to pick her up when she falls and " kiss

the boo-boo. My doubt comes into play when she states she can't walk due to

injury.

Example- just today she fell and twisted her ankle and stated she couldn't even

step on it due to pain. She hopped and crawled around all morning. She is a

cheerleader and had a game today,so after talking with her ,we decided she

couldn't go to the game today. I called her coach and told her.

Then a half hour later she was up and walking around and I said your foot must

feel better now,and she agreed. So we scrammbled around and made it to the game.

The best part is that she cheered great and won the " prize for the day " (goes to

the cheerleader who does the best at the game). So I was at the point of taking

her to the drs. and then in the next minute I'm clapping and cheering for the #1

cheerleader of the day.

She is alittle tired and resting now, but no further complaints when walking

about her ankle hurting. So as you can see at times I can't comprehend what is

truely going on.

louise,

I wanted to jump in here and say what great job I think you are doing with

Katelyn. You have every right to be confused by her actions with the on off

pain and fatigue. I am confused just reading about it.
