Guest guest
Hi, my name is , I was just diagnosed yesterday with Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disorder, I was reccomended to receive foot surgery on my right foot, I am 30, engaged to a wonderful man, and I had no idea this is what was up with my feet, they have allways been very small, with stubby toes and huge arches, I love to dance, run, swim, sing, sew, craft, walk, read, hike, ski. I suspect my mother has it, as well as my sister being a carrier and my nefew who is two, also has the same kind of feet as I do, and was also just recently diagnosed with spina bifida, Im a little scared, I thought I was a freak of nature somewhat, allways tripping and twisting my ankles and scraping my knees, and I allways had to get shoes one and a half size larger than the length of my feet, I have other symptoms as well, and Im now doing some research on websites trying to educate myself as much as possible before I go in for sugery, and hearing other voices would help greatly, and also make me feel less like a weirdo with toes that need fertalizer on them to grow..as a friend once mentioned jokingly to me.
