fever and casting

I'm just wondering what the general rule of thumb is

for how long after a fever until casting. they are

trying to squeeze us in to get casted in 3 weeks, but

of course owen had a fever last night. i will call

and let them know, but i wanted to hear from you what

you are generaly told

I would think that would be ok. It is scarry though, isn't it? I felt like I kept Evan in a bubble before this cast. Evan had RSV just 4 weeks before his cast and wasn't running a fever around the time of his cast and did very well.
