Guest guest
Interesting, . I wore cowboy boots with riding heels from the beginning riding lessons - here in So. Calif. Noticed walking around the stables and working with the horses how comfortable the boots were. I also lived in Arizona, Texas and Wyoming, where boots with riding heels were not only functional, popular, and comfortable but also da** well made. Some of my boots were incredibly fashionable, not to mention expensive too. So off and on my whole life I've worn boots with those riding heels. About 1991, my feet started to widen (happens with age) and with that my doc and orthotist said " no more boots " , instead, I started wearing and New Balance shoes with rollbar stability and had in-shoe custom orthotics made. lol, but the last time I went riding, I wore my New Balance shoes - still had a great ride. ~ Gretchen in So.
