Guest guest
Hi , I have had CMT all my life. I'm 45 now and I was originally diagnosed with it when I was 3 years old. I have had chronic pain almost all my life but I have never known anything else so it is easier to deal with. I have never experienced the burning sensation that you are feeling but I do experience pain due to lack of muscles to support my weight. Now that I am in my mid life things seem to be getting worse. I continually break bones in my feet and legs. Most recently I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis. A good nickname for me now is " crumbles " because I am just crumbiling apart. I'm not depressed about this, although it sure does get maddening at times, but somehow the good Lord has given me the ability to realise that this is just my pile of crap that I have to deal with. Everyone has crap in their lives and this is just mine. Good luck with you and look for strength in the beauty and magnificance of this life. It is all we have and it is indeed wonderful! Cheers!
