Good luck to all of > you. > , Welcome to the group! Congratulations on the 10 pounds lost so far...that is a great accomplishment! I'm glad you were able to jog a mile. Back when I first started doing tae-bo, I was running as my primary source of exercise and I really noticed a big diffence in how fast and how far I could run when I added tae-bo. It's a great idea to cross-train...it will help keep you from hitting a plateau and also give you variety in your exercise routine. One of these days, I plan on trying to get back to the gym....just so I can add some other stuff back into my routine! Glad you joined us..hope to hear more from you! Hi Elena, I have the first advanced tape that came out. One move that hurts my lower back is when has you stand with a wide stance and twist at the hips and do a double hook to the right then to the left. That's one of the worst...basically anything where I have to keep my feet in place and twist my hips. Ang

Guest guest
I must of missed something, cuz I never saw that had a miscarriage... I know how hard it is because I had a miscarriage last summer, but now I am pregnant again (due date is april 21st, but I will be giving birth way before that... probably mid-march). If you ever need to talk about it, don't hesitate... > << By the way, I have lost 10 pounds so far > and definitely gained strength and muscle mass! Definitely, turn your right hip and foot in when you do a right hook and visa versa. Sometimes, forgets to remind us of the proper form, so we have to remember ourselves (e.g., from the instructional tape) and insert it when needed. Also, as the Queen of Modifications (Barb) would say, modify any move that doesn't work for your body. For example, I am substituting right front knee raises for right front kicks until my pinched nerve on my right side heals. Also, because of my bad back, I will never do doubletime ab crunches; I just substitute single crunches. tells us to modify the moves to fit our body in his book and on several of the tapes.
