So sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Try this website and see if

any of the drug indications or side effects may be affecting you. Try some other

searches using " Celexa " the medication brand name. If your doctor says this is

just anxiety, is he/she giving you something for that too? There may possibly be

a bad mix of chemicals rearranging in your brain. This happened to me once when

my doctor suggested I try an SSRI instead of a Tricyclic Andidepressant

(Elavil-Amitriptyline). On the SSRI I cried even more, lost 10 lbs in a week

because I quit eating, and in general felt like S***. Back on the Tricyclic, I

was fine. We are all so different, and when these chemicals in the medications

work on the chemicals in our brains, changes are bound to happen.

If you do not feel your doctor is not taking you seriously, get another doctor.

Your health is first and foremost...and antidepressants should help make one

feel better, not worse. Think about that. Too many docs get general info from

pharmaceutical reps then just write out prescriptions (in good faith, however)

" hoping " this will help the patient.

Please don't worry that anything bad will happen. Your medication just needs to

be stabilized by the right doctor, or maybe even the dose needs to be adjusted.

It is pretty simple. Meanwhile, whenever I have tried a new medication (nothing

since Neurontin) but I generally stick pretty close to home until I know how a

medication will act on me. And I let friends know this too, so they can check on

me if the need arises.

Let me know how it goes.
