I have a customer who wants me to make a woman's cologne, but he's more

interested in the packaging than the scent! He just said " a nice women's

cologne " and sent me a sample of something with the ingredient list was " SD

Alcohol 39 and fragrance " (it was just AWFUL). And he wants it " stronger " and

has no specifications on the quality, price ( " inexpensive but not cheap " ) or

scent.

Of course, I'd like to provide something that's actually nice, and a reasonable

So, I'm looking for some guidelines on creating a reasonably priced, simple,

" strong " , cologne ... preferably with a preblended commercial knockoff (just cuz

it's easy!).

So... to the questions

What percentage of fragrance would be reasonable? Are there standards?

Any recommendations for a supplier for a commercial knock-off scent?

How can I determine the quality of the fragrance - and how long it will last?

Is there are particular SD Alcohol I should use?

Thanks!
