Guest guest
Congratulations Peggikaye!! Okay, for all you experienced OCD parents - help me with this please. I know the difference between an IEP and 504 regarding funding, etc. - just not what qualifies for each. (My speech therapy son has an IEP, my OCD son has a 504.) My question is: if OCD is a " mental illness " and this " mental illness " is affecting the child's learning, why can't this qualify under an IEP as a learning disability? Where is my thinking wrong at? FROM CHRIS IN N.C.
