Gretchen,

Thanks for your always appreciated 2 cents. So the skin can absorb the

chlorine. And pardon my ignorance, is that a bad thing? for anyone or

specifically for us CMTers?

Thank you.

Blondee,

Just wanted to add my 2 cents, since I am in a chlorine pool 3-4 times

a week. The chlorine levels are checked twice daily and monitored. But,

nevertheless, one's skin can absorb it. Another reason I shower

immediately and also have a chlorine resistant suit. It is extremely

difficult to find heated saltwater therapy pools at public facilities

due to health standards/regulations.

I prefer the ocean myself, but can't get there enough - so just am

careful not to be in chlorine longer than 1 hour and shower well (with

special soap) after.
